LEGGETT, Donna Appleby, 46, died Monday, September 1, 2008, at her home in Prince George, Va. She was a registered nurse, and served as a deaconess at Unity Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, John Robert Leggett Jr. of Prince George; her mother, Betty King Appleby; a brother, Phillip Appleby and wife, Laura; two nephews, Phillip Appleby Jr. and Aaron Appleby, all of Heathsville, Va. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. in Unity Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Jenkins, pastor, assisted by the former pastor, Rev. Dr. Alex Roberts. Interment will be Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 12 noon at Roseland Cemetery in Reedville, Va. I am sorry to hear of Donna's passing. She was a patient in our practice and I always admired her positive attiude no matter what life threw her. She will be missed and remembered by our doctors and staff. My condolences to the family.

I am truly saddened to hear of Donna's passing. She was one grade behind me at Northumberland High School and I will always remember her sweet nature and smile. My heartfelt prayers go out to all her family. I know this has to be such a terrible time for you. Keep the faith and God will see you through this as he does all things.

I've known and loved Donna since the day she was born. Her loss will touch us deeply. Her wit and beauty will be missed, she was a lovely person and a dear soul. My heart goes out to her family, my dear friends, our prayers are with you.

How sadden I was to learn of the passing of Donna. I have such fond memories of her while at RCC and even of her wedding at Beale Memorial Church in Tappahannock. I will be in prayer for you and the family.
