Donna Faye Gunterman Leibfried

Donna Faye Gunterman Leibfried, 55, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on April 2, 1954 in Owensboro to Russell Gunterman and Mary Gunterman Hayes. She worked at Kenco Plastics and the Big E. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, Burn Notice and Monk, listening to Elvis and going to horse racing at Ellis Park with her husband. She especially enjoyed her roses and watching the hummingbirds on her front porch. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Gunterman, her brother, Russell Gunterman, Jr. and her grandparents. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Norman Leibfreid; her son, Christopher Wilson of Owensboro; her grandson, Nolan Wilson; her mother, Mary Hayes of Berea, KY; her stepmother, Carol Gunterman; four sisters, Alice Gunterman of Owensboro, Vickie Lowe (Jim) of Murray, KY, Sandy Langdon (Doug) of Owensboro and Becky Gunterman of Ohio; four brothers, Gary, Eddie (Shelia) Robbie, and Johnny (Joyce) all of Owensboro. Her family wishes to give a special thanks to her niece, Kim Gunterman. Services are at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2009, at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro with Reverend Farrell Isenberg officiating. Burial is in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home.
