Somehow I missed this sad news. The Lowells lived across the street from us during those happy times of childhood in Holiday Hill. It doesn't seem possible so many years have passed. I extend my condolence and have spent some time remembering Donna and the Lowell family today. Risen up on wings like an eagle, running and not growing faint, understanding all, you are now a new creation.

My family and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and Della. I shared an office with Donna at Mayo Clinic. For several years, my son and I would help her set up her Christmas tree.
It was a pleasure to know Donna for she was such a kind spirit. May she rest in His Peace.

I also grew up with Donna with our houses separated by two blocks. I recall her house being right next to holiday hill elementary school. She was a wonderful person and friend. We had a chance to really catch up at our 30th reunion and she was still full of spirit and optimism despite her limitations. As everyone has said, she will be sorely missed. my condolences to her family for their huge loss.

I remember growing up in Holiday Hill with Donna and Della - they were always such fun to be around and great to have in a neighborhood that was mostly filled with boys. I last saw Donna at our 30-year reunion, and despite her illness, she was just as spunky and cheerful as she was back in the days when we played kickball in the street. I am blessed to have known her.

I had the privilege of being one of Donna's classmates in the Sandalwood Class of 1976. I remember that Donna attended our 30th reunion in 2006 despite being in a wheelchair and having numerous health problems. I will always remember Donna's beautiful smile and spirit, and as someone who was always a joy to be around. My deepest sympathy to her family.
