Donna MacFarlane

Donna told my sister and I many stories of her life. Often life must have been difficult for her, as a child and then in later years. The one thing she always told us was how proud she was of her two sons and her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She tried to be a mother to all those she knew. We had many dinners at Donna's house, with her favorite holiday and dinner being Easter. She made sure there were little plastic eggs filled with coins that we would hide around...

It was an honor to get to know Donna the last year of her life. She had a very strong mind, will and an amazing heart. I know I speak for me and everyone at A Caring Hand, that she will be truly missed! My condolences to her family at this time.
