Donna Marie "Ginger" Jelf

Donna "Ginger" Marie Jelf, 81 of Villa Park, IL passed away Sat., Nov. 5, 2016. Born Nov. 16, 1934 in DeKalb County, IN, the daughter of the late John and Jennie (Scott) Hook. Ginger was a Music Teacher in the Chicago/Illinois Public Schools for over 50 years. Retiring from the Pasteur School in Chicago, IL. Ginger travelled throughout the world with her family and friends. She was a lover of all animals and nature. Ginger was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt and dear friend to many. Ginger is survived by her nieces, Jacqueline (Stanley) Miller of New Lenox, IL and Joyce (Dale) Miller of Butler, IN; her nephews, Larry (Julie) Hook of Butler, IN and Jerry (Colleen) Hook of Butler, IN; her four great-nieces and five great-nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; also her longtime friend and companion, Morris Williams of Elburn, IL.
