I miss you, mom. I miss my best friend. I miss the most selfless women I've ever known. You carried your burdens with grace and dignity. There is a void left from your passing that will never be filled. I just hope that I can be half the women that you were, mom. Enjoy your long talks with grandma somewhere over the rainbow......

I remember the first time I ever went to one of the Mount's crazy 4th of July parties. I got so sick that night. Mrs. Donna, hardly knowing me at that time, sat me down and took care of me until I felt better. =) Another moment was a couple of years ago when my mother passed away. Mrs. Donna was grieving at the loss of her mother at that same time, so she knew how I felt. So, she wrote down a poem her mother had wrote and gave it to me. That was very comforting and it did make me feel better...
