Donna I. Paraschos, 85, of Bangor, PA, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, at her residence.
Donna was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on November 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Claude and Bertha (Coyle) MacDougall.
She was the widow of Charles Paraschos, who passed away in 2001. Donna was a graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was a devoted mother & grandmother, who truly loved her family. She was an avid reader, an animal lover, and always enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
Donna was a member of the former Portland Ambulance Corp. Ladies Aux, and a former Cub Scout Den Mother.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Kim DeNardo, wife of Charles, three sons, Dirk Paraschos, husband of Denise, Todd Paraschos, husband of Susan, and Arik Paraschos. She has one surviving sister, Carol Dieter, 7 grandchildren; Chase DeNardo, husband of Nina, Kierstyn Toth, wife of Rich, Dane, Dax, Brynn, Autumn & Gage Paraschos, and three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Nico and Leo. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Gary, and a sister Shirley.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com
