Not sure what to say?

I still remember Donna with fondness and admiration for her voice and her character. Knowing her through Cedar Crest was a blessing. I hope the family she loved so deeply is doing well.

Dear Gene and Parris Family:

I was very saddened to hear of Donna's passing. She sang at our church in Quakertown in the mid-1990s, and she sang again at the memorial service of my wife's mother. She had a beautiful voice but more importantly she really cared about people. I found your words today at the memorial concert to be truly inspiring, Gene. God bless all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you & your family. I will miss her and her beautiful voice. I enjoyed the time I was in choir with her and we went on tour to New York City to Harlem. That trip will always be a special memory for my mom & me of our time with Mrs. Parris. I am sorry to hear of your loss. She was a Godly woman who will be missed!

We all have many fond memories of such an inspirational and caring woman. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that many are thinking of your family during this time.

Dr.Parris and family, sorry to hear of your loss. I send my sincere sympathy and pray for your strength during this difficult time. God bless you all.

Dear Gene, Josh, and family,
My family’s thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. I want to let you know that my family was truly blessed to get to know your family during those football practices and games. Donna truly was a wonderful person and I enjoyed the conversations we had. I know my family, as well as everyone else, will always remember her beautiful voice singing to honor the 100lb Football Champions!

God bless and may you be comforted by all the...

I will always remember how Donna touched my life. She came to my home and sang for me as I was recovering from my car accident. She gave me strength through song that God blessed her with. Her spirit will always sing in my heart.

Dear Gene and family,
We did not have the honor of knowing Donna for very long, but, in the
time we knew her, she made a great impression on us. Her warm and open
nature, and her generous spirit touched us and made us feel welcome in
a new neighborhood. We offer our prayers to you and our deepest
condolences. Mike and Gerrianne Clime
