Donna and I worked together at the College of Charleston in the early 1980s in The Center for Continuing and Professional Eduction. Donna coordinated the non-credit programs and expanded the offerings. I knew that she was a leader and would find great success in higher education, and was sorry when she left for a new position at the University of South Carolina.
