It is never easy to lose a mom; it always comes as shock no matter how ready we think we are. I regret not being there. Having known your mom and family for over a half a century it seems impossible that she’s gone. The house and your lives must seem so empty without her. I hope as time passes that you’ll find ways to remember her with joy in your hearts for having been blessed to have such a down-to-earth mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law.

Pat and I were sorry to hear that your mom has passed. We are sending our love and sympathy to you all.
