Not sure what to say?

My mother used to say that death was hardest on those who were left.
In my conversations with Ricky and when I can bear to look at my own feelings, I see that this is true.
Somehow I knew that you would predecease me, Donna, so I tried to cherish our times of connection- the birthday calls, movie dates, holiday visits, random phone calls, running into each other at Borders- but it was not enough, not enough.

Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...
