To Donna's dear family,
Although I have not seen Donna for some time, I thought of her often and will never forget the way she welcomed me to Copley back in 1958. Her special laugh will ring in my ears forever. She simply was the kindest person I have ever known. The greatest invitation one could get in junior and senior high was to spend the night at the Walters'. What hospitality and warmth! The greatest breakfast with the whole family gathered in the "booth". I will treasure her...

Even though we knew how sick Donna was and the gallant effort she put forth, we all hoped and even prayed that God might heal our friend of so many years. In his infinite wisdom he chose to take her home where there is no more suffering and pain. She was a fighter, it started back in high school as she cheered on the athletes and told them they "could do it". Good bye my old friend I will cherish your memory always.

Donna was a great friend in High School, in fact she was everyone's best friend. Cheerleading suited her as she brought "cheer" to everyone she met. She'll be missed but will be a wonderful addition to the angels in Heaven.

Donna,
You were our cheerleader at Copley High School, and now you are cheering for all of us in God's graces. I feel privileged to have known you and cherish the many wonderful memories we shared as a class in school. You were a blessing and will be missed.
