Donna Mae Schultz

Donna Mae Schultz, 91, of Chugiak, Alaska passed away on August 14, 2018 at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Donna Mae was born on September 18, 1926 as the youngest of three children to Henry and Anna Kretzschmar on the family farm in Clark, South Dakota. She met her future husband, LeRoy J. (Bud) Schultz in junior high school in Watertown, South Dakota. They were married on October 23, 1949. Their daughter, Julie Ann, was born in 1955. Donna Mae and Bud moved to Alaska in 1961 and lived an adventuresome, full life, enjoying time with family and friends and traveling the world. Donna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, her parents and her siblings, Emil and Helen. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Schultz) Grohs, son-in-law Joseph Grohs, grandsons Erek Grohs (and his wife Chai) and Leland Grohs as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Her family will always hold her memory, her love and her warmth close in their hearts.
