Donna Marlene Selchert

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I had the pleasure of working with Marlene at Porterville Developmental Center in Personnel Payroll Department, she was a very kind lady and easy going.

I was so sad to read the obituary of Marlene this morning - a day after her service. I would like to have attended. Marlene was always such a caring fun person to be with. We enjoyed many evenings together as our "date nights" with our favorite dates. I know she enjoyed doing her beautiful quilts and other handiwork and it was hard for her when her eye sight diminished. I will miss our times together. Jerry, know that I am here for you if you need anything. I'm only a few blocks away. ...
