Not sure what to say?

I'm 73. As you can imagine, I've seen and met a lot of people in that many years. Many good and loving people. Very, very few that I cared for as much as I did Donna.

I was blessed with the opportunity to work with Donna as a city employee intern for a few months (years ago). I would go into her office every day to say hi and sometimes just to watch her work. She was truly an amazing woman. I would literaly sit in awe as she took care of so much of public works city business. ...

God has called his Angel home!!!! With the deepest sympathy and prayers for the family. My oldest baby girl is best friends with Jade since pre-k. Both of my girls have spent time with Grandma Donna as they would call her. I am sorry for the loss of such a great woman. I am thankful my kids got to meet her and spend time with her, Jade, Jyrese and Josh. May god bless you and the family. Rest in Paradise Ms. Donna!!!!

My thoughts & prayers are with your family. I have been a dental hygienist for Donna for over 30 years. I always looked forward to seeing her. I loved to hear her share about her grandchildren. They meant the world to her. She always asked me about my family. Just a wonderful person, I will truly miss her! I know she is in heaven!

I worked at the City with Donna. I will never forget the wonderful sound of her laugh as she came down the hall. What a smile! My sympathies to her family--she loved you all so much,

My sons are friends of JC and Josh. My condolences to them and their families.

Donna was a wonderful person. Some people were under the misconception that the director and his predecessors ran Tacoma's public works department...Uh-uh...Donna did! She was good too! She let the directors think that they were in charge. She was very kind, but one merely needed to stay on her good side and she would look after and take care of you. I will sorely miss her.

I have so many great memories with Donna. We had a lot of fun together in years past. My thoughts are with her family.

It is so sad that such a vibrant soul has been taken from us. May she rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
