Not sure what to say?

My folks (George and Arlene) and I were deeply saddened to read about Donna Struebing's passing in the First Church newsletter and in the Lombardian. Our love and sympathy go out to you. It has been many years since we last saw each other, but you all are still in the Merl family's thoughts and prayers.

She was a dear sweet woman that will hold memories forever in my heart. She was my Camp Fire leader, the mother of one of my dear childhood friends and a fun person to be around. My sympathies go out to the Struebing family.

To the Struebings-

Words can't express how much Donna has meant to me over the years-and how much I will miss her. I am so fortunate to have had such a wonderful person touch my life.

Coming to Lombard was quite a drive for me but having Donna's loving and caring friendship made the trip seem shorter. Life is short but the memories live on. I will truly miss her. My prayers go out to her family. God grant this family the strength they need to press on in this time of sorrow. God bless each of you, one by one and address by addres.

To All the Struebing's,
Donna was a wonderful, funny lady and she will be greatly missed. Keep the happy times in your hearts.
Lots of Love,
