Donna Maria Tiberi

Tiberi, Donna M (Frasso) of Somerville, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, September 25, 2023. She was 71 years young. 

Donna grew up in Somerville and met the love of her life at the age of 18 and married him 4 years later. They were married for 48 beautiful years.

Donna was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. 

Donna was a hairdresser for many years before working at Somerville High School as a Special Education paraprofessional for over 20yrs. She enjoyed being a Team Leader for Avon, going to Bingo, scratch tickets, and listening to her “boyfriend” Tom Jones. 

She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed going up to the Windrifter Resort in Wolfeboro, NH every summer.

Donna had an amazing smile and laugh that will truly be missed. 

She was the beloved wife of Joseph Tiberi. Loving daughter of the late Ferninand and Pasqualina Frasso. Devoted mother of Christopher Tiberi and his wife Richelle of Billerica, MA and Michelle Grigg and husband James of Derry, NH. Loving Nana to Madelyn, Michael, and Kaitlyn. Dear sister of the late Anthony Frasso. Cherished sister in-law of Cathy Frasso, Peter Tiberi and  wife Solange, Maria Grasso and husband Salvatore, and the late Dominic Tiberi. Beloved daughter in-law of the late Floresta and Baldino Tiberi. 

A funeral procession will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 64 Warner St. Medford at 10:00AM. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. 

Calling Hours will be Monday, October 2nd from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. 

Services will conclude with interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
