Donna L. Vandervort, 73, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 19, 2014 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Kings Mills, a daughter of Leo and Ona Harper McCollister.

She is survived by her husband, Ted.

Donna was such a special lady. Her faith and prayers touched many. May God wrap his loving arms around each of her family members and friends and give you comfort.

Prayers. I have found memories of many visits with Seth as a child where Donna was such a wonderful woman who welcomed us children willingly into her home over and over again.

i use to babysit for Donna (Wade,Stacey & Tonya) I thought she was a wonderful and beautiful person. May God take you under His wings and give you comfort at this time. praying for the family.

I counted it a privilege, and a joy to know Donna. She did a fantastic job developing the Adult Day Care Center. I have many precious memories of time there with her. I am so sorry for your loss, Ted. My love and prayers are with you.
