Donna Mae White

Dear Anita, Marc and June and anyone else that may remember the Lowe girls:
Sorry to hear of Donna's passing. It brought back memories of a time in the md to late 1970s when Donna and my dad began their marriage with a lot of hope and enthusiasm. Unfortunately they were not able to make the marriage last through the stresses of my dad's unemployment, care of my grandfather with dementia, raising 4 pre/teenagers in addition to all the other stresses of the times and the basics of...

Donna was wonderful! She and her family members were very close to our family. Donna was friend for over 39 years. She was always available to go places and and experience new things. Most importantly she was available for late night chats, and was a viable resource of information and opinions on how to do stuff. Donna enjoyed life and we were all enriched by her enthusiastic presence in our lives. We will miss her.

Donna was a wonderful neighbor who was a leader in establishing co-housing and Sunward specifically in Ann Arbor. She was very caring of the people in Sunward and the well being of our community. I miss her and am thankful to have known her and the benefits of the community to which she contributed so much.

She jumped in and sewed my dress for the musical 'OKLAHOMA!' in high school. I always very much appreciated that. She taught me how to make gravy from scratch. She knew a lot about home 'fix it'. She was a woman of many talents, aside from being a creative teacher.
Condolences to the family.

Donna worked a few elections for the City of Ann Arbor as an election inspector. The City Clerk's Office is saddened to hear about her passing and extends sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Donna wa always ready to help anyone and had a wonderful attitude. She will be missed by our bed and breakfast group.
