Not sure what to say?

Donna was a generous supporter of the Center for the Study of Women in Society at the University of Oregon. In 1998 she was honored with one of the Center's "Women of Excellence Awards" for her community achievements and service.

I met Donna in 1995 through my employer. She became a very special person in my life. It wasn't just business when we spoke, but she also cared about me personally. She was the first person to jump on the band wagon and donate money for me to have surgery that was covered at less than 50%. This gesture was so touching as I am not a relative, the donation was not tax deductible, etc. I respect(ed) this pioneer, hard worker, giving woman and truly appreciate the example that she set for...

Donna was a fellow Granger always a very kind gentle person. I knew her most of my life. She usually attended the North Douglas County in Drain and always stopped by our Booth to visit. We willmiss her greatly.

Donna was a dear friend and supporter of Northwest Christian University. She was on the search committee for two of our university presidents including our current President Joseph Womack. She loved the fact that we own the former Sigma Nu fraternity house where her son lived, while attending the University of Oregon. Thank you Donna for your service to our community. -- Greg Strausbaugh, VP for Advancement, Northwest Christian University

I was on the World Forestry Center's board for many years with Donna. I will miss her. The world is a sorry place without her. They don't make people like that too often. Her grace and charm were infectious and at the boardroom table, her comments were always appropriate, concise and relevant. Good-bye dear friend.

Donna supported our Baseball Semi Pro for many years. She gave us the opportunity to see the Northwest as young men and play the game we all loved.Go Wooley Bulley's

Thanks Donna!

I had the privilege and pleasure of representing Donna professionally, both personally and with her various business enterprises during the 1980s and early 1990s. Donna personified the liberated woman who, by her personal example, advanced the increasingly accepted conventional wisdom that woman can be as creative, productive and contributive as men. As a strong supporter of civil liberties and civil rights, I admired Donna as a person who walked the walk and talked the talk, all with...

I grew up around Donna Woolley and family.. she was very kind and supportive on many occasions. If I needed anything or had something to say she was there to listen.. She will be missed, but never forgotten!! Mark H. Luther

Donna was one of Oregon's greatest treasures and a friend beyond compare. I had the privilege to work and travel with her as a Director at the World Forestry Center. Her accomplishments and unfaltering values are legendary, yet, I will remember most the twinkle in her eye and her ready appetite for fun and friendship. Oregon is a better place because of Donna. I will miss her dearly.
