Donnie Lou has been on my mind all these years...you don't know how sorry I am to learn of her passing...she was a beautiful person...I was trying to track Donnie Lou down for old time sake when I came across this page...I pray she is with the angels...so I can see her again someday...

With love and condolences to all her family

I cannot express my feelings upon hearing of her passing. She was truly a wonderful person, so very rare.

I am so sorry to hear about Donni Lou. I haven't seen Donni in many years, we knew each other from friends and many great times at Kempsville Inn.
My heart goes out to Donni's family, may God Bless you all.

I had not seen Donni Lou for many years, but was still shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. My heartfelt prayers go out to her entire family. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. Absolutely unforgettable... I'm praying for peace in the hearts of all who knew and loved Donni Lou. God Bless You All - Kelly Hicks Whitehurst and all the Hicks Family

I met Donni Lou VanPelt in 1976 before she became Donni Lou Harrison. I met her wonderful family and friends. I was lucky enough to be part of her world , and friends of hers are mine to this day. I'm sure that those who know and Love her know that they were Loved in return. What a Brave and Beautiful Lady. She wouldn't want me to say much more. I can't write much more cause I can't see through my own selfish tears. I hope and pray to see her again someday. God Bless Donni Lou, her...

I worked with Donnie at American Main
she was a good teacher when I started
we had a lot of good laughs together through the years I worked with her.
We were suppose to retire together.
That was our dream but that never happened
I will truly miss her.
she was a very dear friend
I will truly miss her.
