Donovan John Decker

I met Jay at Alpental since we taught in the kids program on Sundays and Wednesdays. I also had the pleasure of car pooling with Jay to the slopes. Jay was a great conversationalist. Even his jokes were funny (most of the time). I got to know Jay over 20 years of teaching. Whether at the dental school or on the slopes Jay loved to pass on his skills and knowledge to others. His devotion to teaching throughout his senior years stand as a model for us all. I have missed Jay this season...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Dr. Decker was a wonderful Man and Orthodontist. I was lucky enough to be able to get to know him through the dental community. I was Dr. Davis's assistant from 1984 until John retired, they had an incredible friendship. Their stair walking every week, and love of the UW. Prayers to Jay's entire family and friends.
