Donovan Earl Morgan, 66, of Melbourne, passed away April 28, 2023.

Donovan Morgan, 66, of Melbourne, Florida entered eternal rest on Friday, April 28, 2023, surrounded by his partner Deborah, brother, and daughter. Affectionately known as Danny, he was born on May 13, 1956, in Kingston, Jamaica. He is the son of Linton B. Morgan and Thelma M. Morgan of Kingston, Jamaica. Danny, a proud Kingstonian, was a beloved family man and a world-class friend with his proudest accomplishments being his four children.
Danny was an Aerospace Engineer with his favorite pastimes being golf, soccer, and placing bets at his favorite horse race tracks. He was employed by Northrop Grumman as a Senior Mass Properties Engineer. He was absolutely one of a kind and will greatly be missed by all of those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his wife, Margaret (although separated), and his children, Rebecca, Malcolm, Adrian, and Brian. He is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth Morgan, Sharon Hoilett, Cecile Morgan, and Patrick Morgan. Danny is also survived by a myriad of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life service for Danny will be held in Atlanta, GA, and Long Island, New York. Please reach out to his daughter, Rebecca for additional details.

Not sure what to say?

Danny was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. I worked with Danny in NY and Melbourne. He always made people smile. My deepest condolescences to his family.

Danny was great to work with and I especially appreciated his warmth, good cheer and team effort in everything. He even brought me Moringa Tree leaves all the way back from Jamaica! He seemed to remember the importance of pausing and paying attention to others and will be remembered as a man of faith and kindness.

You will be missed, Danny! Thank you for teaching and mentoring me at Northrop Grumman.

Danny was one of the best mentors I have ever had. His experience extended past our time together as co-workers and into life experience as well. He was always available for me and anyone else who needed his time. I remember all the stories he would share with me about Jamaica and his devotion to his heritage. Danny was truly a bright light in my life and will be missed dearly. I'm glad to call him my friend and my condolences to his family. I hope we can meet again Danny, farewell my friend,...

Danny was an awesome mentor and friend when I joined Northrup out of college. Teaching me how engineering is done in the real world and introducing me to a myriad of people. Even after I left his group for another, Danny and I still played soccer together for many years on the NG soccer team that he also introduced me to. Always one with a smile on his face he would still be going toe to toe with many of the younger players that even I couldn't keep up with. He will be truly missed and my...

Danny was such a kind person, and I am blessed to have known him. We played soccer together through the Northrop Grumman Rec Soccer organization and he was always so positive and shared a huge affinity for soccer. I enjoyed the many conversations and jokes he shared on Wednesday evenings at the soccer fields. I was impressed by how active he was at his age and how he always worked hard for his team during our weekly games. My sincerest condolences to the family - may he rest in peace.

Danny was everyones best friend at work. His infectous smile brought joy to all. While at work Danny was the consumate Engineer, imparting excellence in all he did. My deepest sympathies to the Morgan Family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I only lived in FL for a few years and only guested on Danny's soccer team a few times, but he was always a friendly face that would chat with me between or even during our weekly games. He'd go out of his way to make me feel welcome and crack some jokes, and always had a smile on his face. RIP

Danny was always so encouraging to me, telling me that I would rise in the ranks as an engineer. So far, he has been right. You will be missed by your NGC family Danny. Love you friend.
