She was an excellent teacher and stern taskmaster who made certain that we were prepared to meet the challenges ahead of us. I am glad that I was able to express those sentiments to her personally and publicly in December, 1993 when she attended my formal enrobing as a Judge of what is now the Superior Court. Carrie, You have my continuing love. We will all miss Dora greatly but have wonderful memories to keep alive. Love you!

Dear Carrie,
May you find comfort in knowing that your mother is in heaven with those who have waited for her, being her brilliant self.
Remember, I am always a phone call away.
love & blessings always,
Kim (and Tony and the kids)

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Carrie: My positive energy and love is with you. Remember you are a Dunn and you can endure all that is put upon you. May God continue to bless you with the understanding of your power. Your loving cuz, Marcella.

I am your neighbor who also pulled weeds and anise from my hillside. I will miss seeing you and your beautiful dog. If I can be of any help to your family, please knock on my door. 2245 Baleria Dr.

Carrie know that you and your family are in my prayers. May god bless you and keep you always.

I would like to offer my condolences and sympathies to the family of Dora Dunn, and my belated thank you for serving as my mentor. If it is appropriate, I would also offer the Thanks and sympathies for all the thousands of children who have benefited from Dora's accomplishment in "anchoring" the GAP program in the Harbor area elementary schools for the last twenty yeaars. It was through her commitment that a legacy of safer communities exists today.

may god bless and keep you, and my love will always be there
