Kathleen, I feel I knew your mother through you. What a wonderful, long life she lived. My sincere sympathies are with you and your family on this day of celebration of her long loving life.

My family were neighbors with the Jameses when Kathy and I were young children. I do remember Dora's fancy needlework, especially a set of very intricate dining room chair cushions – and quite sometime later, the lovely pink bridesmaid gown I wore. I remember going many places as a child with Kathy and her Mother, who seemed to want me to have opportunities to go along with Kathy, perhaps just to the supermarket, but as well to learn about and experience various sites in our city.
