Not sure what to say?

I can't believe I never added to this. I miss my Aunt Do so much. I think of her often and so miss her stories and laugh. Her laugh was contagious. Aunt Do would be 109 right now. I am thinking of her more because the anniversary of her passing is coming up. She lived 98 wonderful years. She was truly one of my favorite people.

My parents owned Johnny and Kay's restaurant. I was a little girl when Dora came to work/sing at Johnny and Kay's. I loved her music. She inspired me. I am now almost 60 and love gospel and blues. She was also a very kind and sweet person. That I remember well.

Sister Dora was a wonderful missionary for over 25 years. She was a torch lighter serving more than 25 years working on missions. We wil miss her and the William Sampson Brooks Missionary Society. She had a great sense of humor. We will miss her. God bless and keep her family.

So sorry to lose such a lovely lady. Rest in Peace, Aunt Do.

Dora Mackay was a great entertainer and person. I met her through my mother as she was also a member of the Three Purpose Club. She TRULY will be missed by all that knew her warmth and kindness not to mention her talent.
