Not sure what to say?

To her family and dear friends, I was living on the same dorm floor with Dottie in nursing school. We shared many good times together. I will keep her in my prayers. Diane

Jan and family - so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dora was the one who oriented me when I started work at the Cleveland VNA in 1961. We had lots of fun working together and sharing experiences. Later when we were raising our children,we used to get together with 2 other mothers and their babies. I remember one time I was driving Dora(Dodi, we called her) and Larry to the Westside for a visit and we were so excited to see one another and talking so fast that we didn't hear the cop 's siren as he was following me for driving over the speed...

No matter the problem that was taken to her one always received wisdom and sometimes even a frog.

Dora was one of my first supervisors at the VA 25 years ago. She was a fun, compassionate, caring person. Dora was a huge part of my growing up here at the VA. She played a major part in my wedding shower, 21st birthday and my first pregnancy. Dora's impact on my life will never be forgotten. She was an absolutely incredible woman and will be sorely missed.

We all have such good memories of you! Your door was always open for any concern, no matter how small. In fact, many years ago you taught me how to use email!! Ann Drysdale

Dora was not only a collegue but a friend. Her smile, laugh and love of frogs will be continuing reminder of the wonderful person and nurse she was. My sympathies to family and friends. Although, I will not be able to attend memorial I will be there in thought and prayer.

Wings of Excellence were well deserved for this wonderful nurse. A person filled with the spirit of giving aid to our military and civilians. May God bless her with eternal life.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
