Rest in Peace and Power, Dora Robinson Jamel and Nicole Sharif

Dora, I look at your photo and smile. You will always be an indomitable spirit. Thinking of you, Judy

I think about you all the time . You are missed for your intelligence and humor .

Frank, I just heard about Dora's transition a few days ago. I mourn with you and your family. I am flooded with memories of Dora's light and how she used that light to impact the lives of many including me and my family. Rest in power and peace.

Dora Robinson welcomed me and my family to Springfield in 2005 when I became principal of MLK Charter School, which she was instrumental in helping found. Dora will forever be a champion for family and community. May her soul rest in peace and power; our sincerest condolences to Frank, Kim and the entire Robinson family. May God grant you ease and strength in this difficult time. Jamel & Nicole Sharif

My condolences to Mr. Frank Robinson and family. I new of Dora's work long before I met her and had the blessing and joy of dancing a few songs to Motown music at the Community Music School Gala. May she go dancing on to heaven.

I knew "Auntie Dora" since I was a young girl. She mentored me while I worked as a social worker for her at MLK as well. I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a rare and one of kind individual with a heart of gold and a spirit of helping. She left a Phenomenal legacy and her footprints behind. To her family, my sincerest sympathy. Sending prayers of love and comfort.

I had the privalage of working with Dora at the UWPV. As a board member, I found Dora to be a wonderful leader. She was always open to suggestions and striving to insure that the misson of UWPV was acheived. She was a warm and caring person whom I admired. She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting her at Zaida Govan's house. I was lucky enough to have more than a few minutes of conversation. The Truth is life is about the people you meet and the books you read. Godspeed Dora
