Dear Jack and family,

We, as a family, have gathered together (to escape Ike) remembering all the fun adventures we have had with Doreen over the many years of friendship. We have laughed, cried, toasted in the New Year, and shared many family memories. She will be greatly missed. We loved her dearly.

Mrs. Campbell was my neighbor as a child. I remember her being very doting as a mother to Lesley; very attentive to family matters in general. I feel that Mr. Campbell, Lesley, and Fred were blessed to have such a woman in their lives; I wish more kids today could have a mother like her. My thoughts are with the family, and especially the grandkids.

Michael Montes, classmate of Lesley and Fred Himburg

Dear Lesley and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of the highlights of having Taylor at Banff. She was a wonderful woman.

Dear cousin Jack and Lesley,
We wish to express our condolences in your loss of Doreen.

Jack, it's a long time since our meeting in London; we send you our sympathy.

Jack and Family; We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We know you will find comfort from fond memories of your times together with family, friends and colleagues around the world.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Jack, Lesley, Fred and Family; know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. We remember many happy times together in Saskatoon and Calgary. Times like this we wish we did not live so far away. May special memories give you strength at this time.

Jack, I would like to say I am sorry for your lost. If there is anything our family can do, please do not hesitate to knock on our door. Doreen what can I say she was the best, always able to make one laugh. The neighborhood will not be the same without her. All I can remember is her laughter and her in her flowerbed. Each time I look out the door I will see her in her yard, taking special care of her yard and you as well.
