Not sure what to say?

Brent and Nic, My heart is saddened by the news of Doreen´s passing. I know she is basking in God´s light. Her love was big and her smile wide. She was an inspiring person and I loved her very much. I hope you are both well Love, Mary

I am at a loss for words as tears roll down my checks. Such a beautiful person, I am sadden I let time get away from us and spending time together. My dearest Brent and Nic, you both are in my heart and prayers and forever dear to me. Lov always and never forgotten. Kathy Struble, Curtis Park., Denver, Colorado

I recently had a dream about Doreen where I still worked for her and her wonderful husband Brent. It was such a lovely dream and I thought to look up Doreen and see what joy she was spreading throughout our desperate world. I was so saddened by news of her passing. I was so honored to have helped her in her forest hills estate many years ago and truly regret my mistakes that led to no longer being in Doreen´s "light". I saw her once after that sad separation at Christian life assembly in camp...

Don, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister I just found out. Prayers for you and your family.

It was very sad to hear the news about Doreen's passing, a sincere, honest and talented classmate. To see and hear her sing was inspirational. My sincere condolences to her family and friends, there is no doubt that Doreen's spirit touched many people.

One of this world's greatest people, in my opinion. I truly loved my dear classmate , friend, sister in Christ, and already miss her knowing that I cannot just phone, email or text her any more. My deepest sympathy and prayers for Nic, Brent and all Doreen's family and friends! Her work will continue to speak into and through all of us whose lives have been touched by her wisdom, her love.

We are saddened to hear of Doreen's passing. We last saw her two years ago at her mother Judi's funeral and didn't expect to see an obituary so soon for Doreen at such a young age. The entire Detweiler Family offers our condolences to Brent, Nic, Don and Melanie and her entire extended family.

Tears are in my eyes as I write this for the loss of doreen; she was a beautiful, caring, bright and shining star. Judy, Doreen's mother was one of my first friends on our move to Allendale and she was so proud of her children and loved them deeply. I viewed Doreen from grade school into womanhood and mourn that she was taken away so young. I send my condolences to the family, friends and the many people who cared for her. Sincerely, Kathy Straub

Doreen was always a fabulous, thoughtful person! I remember her from classes and Student Council at Cedar Cliff, she was a star in so many ways! Really beautiful, inside and out! I will miss her even though I haven't seen her for so many years. Love and Sympathy to all who loved her! -Abbe Young Smith
