I so enjoyed being in Doreen's presence. She was so outgoing and brightened wherever she was. I was in the writing group with her and a reading group also. Her smile and her stories lit up the room.

I had the pleasure to meet Doreen in recent years when she would visit the library. She was always so vivacious, witty, classy and full of life. She was a unique spirit who brightened the world with her presence and who was very proud of her family. So sorry to hear of her passing. I will miss seeing her smiling face and hearing about her England adventures.
