Dorinda and I met when we both worked for M.H.T Bank. We became very good friends and all through the 70's we traveled and had a lot of fun together. Over the years we kept in touch with each other. My family and I only recently learned of Dorinda’s passing. She and my brother Charles were long time companions. My children all referred to her as Aunt Dorinda. Many summer memories were made at the Peconic beach house. She will surely be missed, a wonderful lady and friend.

Dorinda was a cherished colleague back in Manny Hanny days. She was not only a skilled private banking executive but also an erudite scholar steeped in the classics. I enjoyed our conversations and her witty repartee. We had a faux feud with me positing that church pronunciation of Latin was purer than the harsh Germanic version. I always lost. Farewell dear Dorinda. Ad Astra!
