Doris V. Besson

I only knew Mrs. Besson by cleaning her windows years ago. My regards go out to the family as this a great loss. She was a very nice lady. I am glad to have Known her.

I last saw Doris this past spring when she was volunteering at Rhode Island Hospital’s Guild in the cafeteria. She smiled and gave me a big warm hug, asking me how I was as well as my family. She spoke of her family, beaming with joy and pride. When I was a new graduate nurse some thirty years ago Doris was one of my mentors. She was an excellent and compassionate nurse and friend. She made a positive difference in a world full of life’s joys and challenges.
Doris will be missed...

I cannot believe Doris has passed away. She was always walking and smiling. She always stopped to say hello. She will be missed very much.
