We are sad to hear of Doris's passing and send our deepest condolences to her family. Her sons and their families are a testament to the way she lived her life in faith, strength, compassion and humor. We are indebted to Doris and her family for the kindness and friendship shown to our son, Jeff. He had many good times boating and camping with them. Doris touched many lives including her students and friends. Her life well lived.

She was such a great teacher. I had her twice for first grade. Yes, I was held back. I remember Taco the Turtle and the Books we read about Buffy and Mac! She was gentle and nurturing. I am now a fifth grade teacher in Gladstone. She was a part of that.

Our family will miss her pleasant friendship and good conversations at The Fountains dining room. She was always SO friendly. It's easy to see why the Betts and Mostul families were friends for so many years.

Such a great, sweet, woman....so much fun....MANY great memories....SINCERE condolences to the entire family.....

My since condolences to all the friends and family. During these times of distress is especially more necessary to pour out your heart to God in prayer because he cares for you. He promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Phillipians 4: 6,7

Memories of long, long ago. From our college days. Over sixty years ago. God bless all of you of the family.
