Doris Weixel Bias

I never had the pleasure of meeting either Dick or Doris but I grew up in Harrisville and returned frequently to visit my parents, family and friends. In the 1980s, I heard wonderful things at each visit about their work to establish the North Bend Rail Trail and their B&B. What a wonderful legacy. I am sorry for your loss and thankful for their very loving, generous ways. We were all blessed.

Prayers for the Bias family from Ms Richards a former teacher at Cairo Elementary School. She was a big help to me in the kindergarten classroom.

To the Bias family: Doris was on my mind last week and I was very sad to see in today's paper that she passed away. She was a spunky, special woman to many people and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. There's so much to say, but not the words to do it. Just remember she was very special to us, even though we have not had much contact over the years since she has been gone from Ritchie County, but the family is never forgotten. Memories will live on forever. Bless...
