Not sure what to say?

Sad to learn of death of Doris, just heard today, wondered if it is true, a dear lady very generous to all about all her favorite projects and all she knew, we will miss a loving and kind Sewing and Everything expert.

Dear Family-
We are keeping your family in our thoughts and heartfelt prayers. We will always remember Doris for her kind and caring ways. We will miss her. She is now with our Lord and is in peace in God's heavenly kingdom. Peace and prayers be with you and your beautiful family.

Dawn,
I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Please know that you are in my prayers as you go through this time.

I was very sorry to hear about Doris. She and I belonged to the same doll club-Doll Scholars of Southweast Wi.We had a lot of good times together. I missed her when she did not rejoin a few years ago. We did talk once in awhile though.
The last time I talked to her was about 4 years ago. We had visited a high school friend of my husband's in Ca. who was a friend of Eddie Matthews senior and had Eddies Hall of Fame jacket framed in his living room. I asked how come he had it and he said...

On June 22, 1985 Doris became my mother-in-law, but for the 27 years that followed she was the only mother I had. She was a blessing in my life and I will cherish her memory always.

Kindness is doing something for somebody without expecting anything in return and that is how I remember Doris. Her love for sewing shined!!! Doris even sewed her swim gloves and swim suits as she attended my water classes at the Wisconsin Athletic Club. I remember being her bus partner on a day trip to Nancy's Notions and she talked the whole way there SEW excited to teach her grandchildren to sew. Doris always had a smile and a positive attitude.
Losing a loved one is never easy...

Denise, I remember your mother from grade school and on, what a great lady. I am so sorry for your loss, know that you are in my thoughts.

To the entire Borchardt Family, my deepest sympathy goes out to you as you grieve the loss of Doris. I pray that the Lord would comfort you and fill you with His peace.

I first met Doris about 11 years ago at an ASG meeting when she was giving a demo of her porcelian dolls. Since then I have taken classes, been at conferences, and many sewing events that Doris and I both attended. It was always a pleasure to be with Doris at these events. I really appreciated the group that she started at Frank's Sewing Center. This is a very special group that kept growing each month. Not only did Doris willing share her knowledge and skills, but was interested in...
