Dover-Doris E. Boulanger, 89, formerly of Hanson St. died Tuesday September 11, 2007 at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover. She was the widow of the late Clement Boulanger.

Born March 25, 1918 in Dover, NH she was the daughter of the late Sidney L. Gillis and Laura Larochelle.

Doris was a licensed RN and was employed at the St. Ann Home, Dover Point retiring in 1978. She was a communicant St. Mary’s Church in Dover, NH. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her son, Richard Boulanger of Littleton, NH; her two grandsons, David and Steve Boulanger; her great grandsons, Ethan and Seth Boulanger and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clement N. Boulanger, her son, Ronald F. Boulanger, her bother, Robert Gillis and Thelma Hayes.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Inc., Manchester NH Office, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.

There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

I was so sorry to hear about Doris' passing. I used to check in on her when she was in the Transitions program, a special program sponsored by Seacoast Hospice. She was a wonderful lady.
