Not sure what to say?

Vicki, Alison, and Eric, thank you for inviting me to the memorial service at the Akron Art Museum. You did a wonderful job of setting it up. I loved your Mom and Dad. Your Mom was the link to both and I will truly miss her. Hopefully we will be able to keep in touch!

My deepest condolences Vikki, Alison, Eric, Erin, Ryan, and friends
My special time with Carol was on the 10th of July 2008, when we sighted an American bald headed eagle during our 3 days together (with a guinea pig at our feet?), Carol had alot of explaining to do for a foreigner like me about what the guinea pig was doing there, .. We both had a great laugh about that experience.
In addtion, and, .. of course!, as a Doca would!, took me to her favourites places.. the museum!,...

Carol was dedicated to promoting the Richfield Library. It was my honor to know her. She was a voracious reader and an active participant in the Book Discussion Group. When I was not available to lead the group, Carol happily stepped in and did a wonderful job. She worked tirelessly at the Friends of the Library booksales and did such a wonderful job of organizing the children's books for sale in the conference room. Every year she played beautiful music on her keyboard at the Library...

Mrs. Boyd was my music teacher when I attended Brooklyn schools and a dear friend to my mother, my family, and I. She has been an inspiration to me and all that have known her. She will be dearly missed.

WHAT A MARVELOUS WOMAN AND FRIEND. Our family was so deeply influenced and richly blessed for our association with Carol, through Brooklyn Schools and always as a friend and mentor and example, even going so far as supplying a cherished instrument.
Carol, We Love you. We will miss you. We are better because of you!

Mrs. Boyd was my music teacher at Brooklyn when I was in elementary school. She was a wonderful teacher and person. I always remember her smile. She touched many of us and set a foundation for the talent we had in us. Her memory will live on in all of us as we pass on the gift of music she brought out in each of us.

Carol was one of my favorite Curves members. I enjoyed her pleasant smile, cheerfulness and concern for everyone. May she rest in peace!!

Eric, Allison and family

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. It is obvious here how well loved she was.

Carol, or, "Gutzie", as she was called by many, was one of my very favorite people. My husband and I knew her to be an individual of great character, charm, personality, & wit. There is an old Chinese proverb that states, "The most manifest sign of wisdom, is a continual cheerfulness". How aptly this describes Carol...her smile and laughter always being both prevalent and "unforgettable" . Carol was a "bridesmaid" in my wedding, and, I was privileged to be her "Matron of Honor" when she was...
