I will always remember our family traveling with Doris in Africa and Europe. Christmas Eve at the Itala game park with an amazing sunset, looking across the veldt at the game, including a family of white rhinos and a cute bushbaby climbing up onto the porch. There were many such moments on trips with Doris. We miss her.

My sympathies to Doris‘s family. Also my thanks for putting an obituary in the Portland newspaper. I knew Doris from the King City computer club, where she was an active member for many years. Computers and genealogy competed for her Saturday mornings, and eventually she gave priority to her genealogy meetings. She faded out of our lives, but not out of our memories.
