It seems Doris was always in our lives. Her mother and my grandmother were friends in England and my mother Ethel (Webster) Rupp and Doris were good friends. They came from England at the same time and always kept in touch. As a child I remember visiting them and they also visited us. We ate tomato pie when we visited in Philadelphia and they loved our local ice cream parlor in Coalport. They were at my wedding Doris and Dan doing what they could to help.
