Doris Brooks Retirement Macy's March 26, 2010

I cannot say enough about this wonderful lady I knew and enjoyed working with for over 16 years. She was strong, smart, witty, dependable, and had one of the best work ethics I have ever encountered in my life. I am posting a photo taken at her goodbye party in March of this year. She loved her family and her friends. We shared a love of our black cats - I know her beloved Sable is lost without her! I will always treasure the coffee mug she gave me when SHE retired.....I will miss her so...

Tommy I worked with your mother for almost twenty years at macy's I will miss her terribly. She will always hold a special place in my HEART. God be with you and your family in this life's trial! Faith Phares

I have been blessed to have been able to call Doris a friend for the last 15 years. We have had luch together countless times over the years and I have always enjoyed her company. I will miss her and I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderfull woman. She was one of the most beautifull people on earth, her love for her friends and family was great. I pray that God gives you strength and peace in this time of need. Tommy, you are in my thoughts and Prayers.

Tommy and family, I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers passing, she was a very beautiful lady. I remember seeing her at PCP when we all went to our favorite produce place. Cam Surrett

Tommy and Family, Doris was a sweetheart. Ten years ago, when she helped me wrap gifts on Christmas Eve, I knew that I had a friend for life. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. I will miss her dearly.

Doris at Macy's giftwrap

Tommy and family: Words cannot express my shock and sorrow about Doris. We shared so many good times at Macy's. I loved our 3:00 coffee breaks together. She was a great conversationalist and I learned so much of her life as a young person up to the present time. She liked to give people the impression that she was tough, but she had the heart of gold--so much like my deceased dad. Christmas Eve a year ago, she put her arms around me and told me she loved me. That meant so much. She...
