Dear Uncle Fred, Greg, Joan, Susan and Tim, I was so sad when Mom called with the news of Aunt Doris and since then my mind has been flooded with so many fond memories of her and your family. While growing up, I used to love the family picnics, her big hugs, her cooking (especially her meatballs), her gardens, listening to the organ, playing Pong and quakes in the basement, and earlier visiting Mamie right next door. I always enjoyed spending time with you and 'sassy' Aunt Doris and...

Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Even though I had not seen my favorite Aunt in years, I have so many fond memories of the times we did see each other. My deepest sympathies to all of the family upon this loss. Love you all.

I only have one childhood memory of my great Aunt Doris but my grandmother, Jennie, spoke of her so often as I grew up that it seems that she lived close by instead of a thousand miles away. My grandmother always pulled out the family album showing me all the pictures of her sisters and would spend hours telling me endless stories of their antics. When my grandma died, her, Aunt Joannie, and Aunt Lydia welcomed me & my new husband as we came to say our farewells to her. I thank you Lord,...

My deepest regrets to hear of her passing. My sympathy goes out to all the family. To Greg, Susan, and Tim, my heart goes out to you at this time. I never forgot the nights I spent at your house with Mom and you guys. Just remember she is in a better place then we are now.

Guarding Angel
When times are hard, were feeling low, We don't know where we want to go it's time we need to know.
An Angel to guide you on your way An Angel to brighten your day
When you need an uplifting thought A hand to hold or to hug a lot
An Angel to sit with you awhile An Angel to make you smile
Our Angel knows our dented soul. The friend comes from an unknown source and soon we feel complete once more.
