Not sure what to say?

My condolences to you and your family.. your mother/wife was a wonderful woman and a great principle! She was my principal at Coronado high School in 1985. Wow what an amazing life she had!! Prayers to all.

Mrs Caine was a wonderful and lovely lady. I worked for her husband, Philip D. Caine at the Air Force Academy. My sincere sympathy to the Caine family.

I will always remember Doris for the inspiration, the mentor (for women especially), and the inspiration and friend that she was. I worked with Doris in several capacities over the years in District Eleven and saw her in many roles. She was always a leader and very professional in her approach to anything she was involved with. She will be missed as a lifetime educator and friend! "Well done good and faithful servant." My sincere condolences to her husband, Phil and her family.

I knew Mrs. Caine first at Doherty High School as a guidance counselor where she encouraged me to pursue my interests and helped me with college applications. Later, as a young woman married to a 1st Lt teaching at the Air Force Academy she was a role model of balancing career, marriage and family, and AF spouse obligations. This was in the early 80s when there were not many nonmilitary wives with careers. I followed a similar path as Mrs. Caine, traveling the world with my active duty...

I knew Doris slightly through her work in District 11 and admired her tremendously. She made it look easy and it never was.
