Not sure what to say?

Dear Carsons,

I am SO sorry I missed the memorial service for your mom. I just found out about it on Sunday. Her death saddens me SO much. It is like an era has ended.

I have such fond memories of your whole family; Christmases, lake house, the house on Belvedere, and the first house on Polaris.

Your mom was one of a kind. There will never be another. I know she agreed to deliver my first-born son after she had given up her OB practice. She pierced my ears for a...

I lived in the neighborhood with the Carson family, took pianolessons with the children & she was my gynecologist. It was a pleasure all around getting to know her and the family and so much of what they stood for. Our lives are the better for having her in them. She has run her race & crossed the finish line where she has received her crown of victory.

She was ahead of her time. She touched so many lives, including mine. She will be missed. So sorry for the loss of your loved one.

Cindy - My prayers are with you - she was an unbelievably fantastic woman I admired and I was sad to hear of her passing

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Carson's passing. She was a wonderful woman and family friend. I
will miss seeing her at Timuquana and at Riverside Presbyterian Church.
God bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Patty Pavelka Knight

I have known and admired Dr. Carson for five decades. She was a great advocate for women and a personal inspiration for me. She was kind and generous beyond words. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would jokingly refer to herself as "the other woman" in my dad's life. She will be missed by an entire community, and remembered fondly by all.
To Chris, Craig, and Cyndi, my deepest sympathies.

TO THE CARSONS:

I know that many lives here in Jacksonville have crossed paths someway or another by Dr. Doris and her late husband, Sheriff Dale Carson. My late father was a rookie back in the good ole days in the 50s with Dale, Sr. Lots of neat stories and memories he used to share!

I was saddened to read of the loss of Dr. Doris and was amazed at everything she accomplished and did for others anywhere and everywhere-through her own physical pain and suffering. What a...
