I have just received word of Sister Doris' death, and I am sorry to have missed her Vigil and Resurrection Mass. She was a wonderful collaborator in many of the ministries we shared together as Sisters of the Archdiocese particularly during the decades of the 70's and 80's. Doris was Director/Administrator of Presentation Retreat Center in Los Gatos while I was carrying out the same ministry at our Santa Sabina Center in San Rafael. Sister Doris always made the San Jose Engaged Encounter community feel welcome and appreciated when we visited Presentation Center. She was a great blessing to our ministry.
