Doris De Beer

I worked at Hekman Furniture part and full time from age 16 until I joined the US Marines at age 23. 1968-1975. My Father Roy Watters was the Plant Engineer at Hekman from 1959 until he passed away in 1982. Of course he worked with Doris on a daily basis. She left work at 4:30 PM and I vividly remember her leaving in her small 1962 Chevy. I am proud to have been a small part of her strong Christian Life. Jesus has welcomed her Home. My sympathy and prayers to the family of Doris De Beer

My prayers for all of Dorie's family. After 53 yrs. of friendship with Dorie that started at Hekman Furniture in 1966, I will miss her cards and notes she sent weekly, when going through bad times. Dorie was truly a good, kind and giving person. I'm sure on Sunday, when she saw Jesus, He said, well done good and faithful servant.

Please accept my sincere condolences to the DeBeer family and friends. The loss of a loved one is never easy.May the God who gives us comfort during this most difficult time provide you with the comfort you need.

Extending my thoughts and prayers to all of Dorie's family and friends. I will miss her smile in the Book Nook, but give thanks for her life well lived and the faith that brought her to her heavenly home!
