My dears ~ Mary, Lynn & Lee,
Paula just shared with me the sad news of your beloved Mom's passing!
She was incredible ~ 99 ~ WOW!
I last saw her at either Home Depot or Lowe's in Westbrook and previous to that I had run into both your parents at either store!
Your Dad & Mom were the inspiration for a hiking trip I took to Switzerland in celebration of my 60th b'day! I imagined that wherever I walked they had walked before me!
And your family was always so generous w/my...

Dear Lee, Lynn, Mary and all your children and grandchildren,
Doris loved all of you. A few days before she passed she went to her favorite "Dollar Tree". She showed me the 35 or so "stocking stuffers" she bought that day, adding them to the many she already had.
Doris and Towers were our friends since meeting at Sugarloaf in 1960. We will miss her.
Love, Audrey and family

I called Mrs. Doggett (I never felt comfortable with calling her Doris) about a month or so ago to see how she was doing and to tell her I was moving to Colonial Rd in Westbrook.
She was just as sharp, witty and good natured as she was in the late 60's when I first met her at sugerloaf.
I don't know how long we have exchanged Christmas cards, I think since I first met she and Towers and the Girls...
I regret that I will be out of state for her celebration of life. I hope someone can...

We are so sorry for your loss. We adored Doris. We have missed seeing her every Friday when she would come to have her hair done. She was a remarkable women, always kind and cheerful. The stories she would tell of her travels entertained us all. You will be missed.

Doris "Mother" Doggett had the greatest sense of humor and personality! When I was in high school we used to be at Sugarloaf every weekend where several of us families got together all the time. Mother, Doris, and Nancy Thompson used to sit in the lodge and knit-as fast as they talked the needles just flew! One of her favorite expressions was "how's your liver"? Will miss you.

I never had the pleasure of getting to know Dee Dee, but all of the stories I heard from Mary and her children always painted a picture of an amazing woman. All my love to each of you and may your memories keep her alive in your hearts forever.
