Doris L. Dorr

Doris L. Dorr, age 73, of Topeka passed away Tuesday morning at a Topeka care home. She was born August 22, 1934 in Parsons, KS the daughter of Virgil E. Kirk and Alice Knight Kirk. She graduated from Labette County High School. She worked in Topeka for Kirby Vacuum. She married William Willy Dorr December 31, 1963, he survives of the home in Topeka. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl A. Dorr. Other survivors include a son, David Dorr of Topeka; a brother, Raymond Kirk of San Antonio, TX and a grandson, Derrick Simpson of Topeka. Funeral services will be Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state from noon 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to the American Heart Association and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
