Doris was born on April 20, 1927 and passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. Doris was a resident of West Jefferson, North Carolina at the time of passing. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 7:30pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elliott Osowitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2017; prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ashe Really Cares, 204 Beaver Creek School Road, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
