Doris Farris Obituary

Doris Pearl Farris, of Bandera, Texas, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. She was born December 25, 1929 to Robert J Wilson and Mary T Vanderslice Wilson in Midland, Texas. Doris was married to Gene E Farris on December 24, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene E Farris, sons Edward C Farris and Ronnie D Farris, daughter in law Jackie Farris and sister Wanda Wilson Burton. Doris (aka Granny) is survived by her son Raymond G Farris of Bandera, Texas, her daughter Fonda L Bolin and husband Bobby G Bolin, Jr. of Bandera, Texas, Grandchildren Lori Alsup of Midland ,Texas, Aaron Lesley and wife Lee' Ayn of Midland, Texas, Chris Farris and wife Rebecca of Ollala, Washington, Leah Harvell and husband Jason of Foley,Alabama, Tim Farris of Layton, Utah. 8 Great Grandkids, 2 Great great grandkids, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Friday, July 23, 2021 between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:O0 p.m.. Funeral services have been scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home
